Dufferin Concrete, a division of Holcim (Canada) Inc., is proud to have been a part of the Aylmer community for over 15 years and currently employs 5 people at the Aylmer Plant, which has been located on Elm Street since the 1970s.
Concrete is one of the most widely used and energy efficient construction materials due to its versatility, durability and the positive long-term impact on the environment throughout its lifecycle. It is the foundation of our communities - our homes, schools, hospitals, bridges and even some of our roads.

IGPC Ethanol Inc. supports local farmers and promotes a clean environment through sustainable renewable fuel production.
IGPC Ethanol Inc. began producing fuel ethanol in October 2008. Located right here in the town of Aylmer, they are right in the middle of Ontario's corn country. They produce 150 million litres of ethanol annually and our distillers grains are marketed and trucked out to area beef, dairy and pork operations.
IGPC Ethanol Inc. is wholly owned by Integrated Grain Processors Co-operative Inc., one of the largest agricultural co-operatives in Ontario. The co-operative was founded in 2002 by a group of farmers and agri business people looking to add value to Ontario's agricultural production.
The plant is staffed by a dedicated team of nearly 50 full-time employees and incorporates an automated process control system. This system monitors some 8000 separate parameters throughout the entire process.
We partner with Cargill who buys all of our corn, Eco Energy who markets the ethanol and Furst McNess who markets the DDGS.
