Adopt a Park

Get involved! The Town of Aylmer is launching an Adopt a Park program that invites volunteers to participate in park maintenance activities with the goal of beautifying local greenspaces and fostering community pride.

Program Highlights:

• Goals: Promote a sense of ownership and pride in our local parks and greenspaces, keep them tidy and inviting for residents and visitors to enjoy
• Who: Groups and individuals welcome
• Commitment: 2 maintenance events (spring & fall) + monthly patrols

What’s Involved:

• Seasonal maintenance
• Litter control/clean-up
• Brush clean-up
• Water garden beds, trees, and shrubs
• Report vandalism, graffiti, hazards
• Submit photos and stories of volunteer efforts

How to Join:

1. Complete the application form: Adopt a Park Application
2. Attend a brief training session
3. Participate in scheduled events
4. Enjoy a sense of pride and community!

Requirements:

Volunteer Service Waiver (under 18? Get a parent/guardian signature) – to be sent following review of application
