Purpose and Effect of Application A08-21
The purpose of the application is to seek relief from Section 18(c) Minimum Parking Requirements for Non-Residential Uses of the Town’s Zoning By-law. The London District Catholic School Board intends to renovate a portion of the existing school facility containing four (4) classroom spaces for use as a new childcare centre.
The provisions of the Zoning By-law require 23 parking spaces plus two (2) accessible spaces whereas the proposal maintains the existing 19 parking spaces plus one (1) accessible space. Relief from the Zoning By-law provisions in the amount of five (5) parking spaces is being requested due to on-site constraints and budgetary considerations.
