Remembrance Day Ceremony – Monday November 11, 2024

A Remembrance Day ceremony is being held Monday November 11 at the Aylmer Cenotaph following a parade.

The Remembrance Day parade will commence from the Legion 211 John Street North at 10:35 am travelling south to Talbot Street turning west to the cenotaph for the 11:11 am ceremony near 46 Talbot Street West. The parade and ceremony are being organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #81 in cooperation with the Aylmer Police Service for traffic control.

The parade will result in closure of Talbot Street West from John Street to Elm Street West and eastbound traffic on Talbot Street will be detoured. The closure is expected to last approximately 1 hour.
