Proclamations are an excellent way of providing important information to the public about initiatives, many of which may be local, provincial-wide, Canada-wide, or international. Proclamations are issued at the discretion of the Mayor, supported by Council. All proclamation requests are reviewed on an individual basis.

How to Submit a Proclamation Request

Proclamation requests may be submitted by mail, fax, or email to the Town Council via the Town Clerk. The request will be placed on a Council Agenda to be considered by Council, and if approved, the proclamation will be posted on the Town’s website and on the Town’s bulletin board located at Town Hall.
