Flag Raising and Proclamations

Flag raising and proclamations are an excellent way of providing important information to the public about initiatives, many of which may be local, provincial-wide, Canada-wide, or international. Proclamations are issued at the discretion of the Mayor, supported by Council. All proclamation requests are reviewed on an individual basis.

How to Submit a Proclamation Request

Proclamation requests may be submitted on the form linked below by in person, by mail ,or email to the Town Council via the Town Clerk. The request will be placed on a Council Agenda to be considered by Council, and if approved, the proclamation will be posted on the Town’s website and on the Town’s bulletin board located at Town Hall.
