The Town of Aylmer is launching free recreation programming for older adults aged 55+ delivered between September 2025 and March 2026. This programming is sponsored by the Government of Ontario.
Activities include:
- Pop Up Seniors Centres
- Mondays 9 AM – 12 PM Old Town Hall Theatre 38 John Street South
- Starts September 15, 2025
- Wednesdays 9 AM – 12 PM East Elgin Community Complex 531 Talbot Street West
- Starts September 17, 2025
- Enjoy social time with friends and neighbours, listen to guest speakers, bring out your competitive side with games and cards, and help shape seniors programming in Aylmer!

- Weekly Dance Fitness Classes
- Wednesdays 11 AM – 12 PM East Elgin Community Complex 531 Talbot Street West

- Move, groove, and have fun with friends new and old!
- Designed for all abilities and fitness levels.
- Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and non-slip athletic shoes.

- Follow a guided paint project. Please register for only one session.
- Paints, easels, canvas, and brushes are provided.
- All workshops will be working on the same project to allow for a maximum number of people to participate.
