PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Aylmer Council will hold a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at approximately 7:00 p.m., in a public livestream available at, to consider the Application for Zoning By-law Amendment. You are invited to participate in the public meeting and to provide verbal and written comments regarding this matter.

Purpose and Effect of Application ZBA02-21

The purpose and effect of the zoning by-law amendment is to rezone the subject property from Residential Type 1B (R1B) Zone to Residential Type 2 (R2) Zone in order to facilitate construction of a two-unit (semi-detached) dwelling. A location map is attached to this notice.

Location and Description of Subject Land

The subject property is legally described as Part of Lot 29 N/S Sydenham, Plan 74, and is municipally knows as 215 Sydenham Street East, Aylmer. The subject property is located within the Low Density Residential land use designation of the Town’s Official Plan and the Residential Type 1B Zone (R1B) Zone of the Town’s Zoning By-law.

ALSO TAKE NOTICE that signed, written submissions shall be accepted by the Clerk prior to the public meeting and such submissions shall be available for inspection by any interested party.  If you do not attend or are not represented at the public meeting, Council may proceed in your absence, and you will not be entitled to any further notice of the proceedings. Copies of the decision are provided only to those persons making a written request for the Notice of Decision. There is a 20-day appeal period from the date of the decision, in which time the decision of Council may be appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
