News & Notices Menu

The Town of Aylmer has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to evaluate replacement options for the existing Standpipe located at 23 Myrtle Street, Aylmer ON. An Environmental Study Report (ESR) has been developed in accordance with a “Schedule B” Class EA, which included public and stakeholder consultation, evaluation of alternatives, an assessment of the potential impacts of the proposed alternatives, and identification of the preferred alternative. The study identified construction of a 7,400m3 elevated storage tank at the “Subject Site” as the preferred alternative for the replacement of the existing water storage facility.
