Winter Overnight Parking
Reminder: From November 15 to April 15 between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., overnight parking is banned on any street within the Town of Aylmer. This parking ban allows for safe winter control operations within the Town of Aylmer (By-Law 33-17).
Parking Pilot Project: Anne Street West
Parking is permitted between the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the South Side of Anne Street from Caverly Road to 200.0m Westerly between November 15th and April 15th.
Pre-Authorized Payment Plan
Save time with the pre-authorized payment (PAP) plans for property tax! We offer PAP Plans to make it easier to pay your municipal tax bills, and to help avoid late fees. There is no cost for this service.
If you pay by PAP Plan, you still will receive two tax bills. These are statements for your records. You can opt to receive these bills by email or by mail.
Waste Management Key Dates – Spring
- Brush Curbside Collection – April 11-17
- Brush will be picked up the day prior to your regular garbage day and must be placed out prior to 7 AM.
- Yard Waste Curbside Collection – April 21-24
- Yard waste will be picked up the day prior to your garbage day and must be placed out prior to 7 AM.
- Yard waste must be placed in paper biodegradable bags and not exceed 20 kg (44 lbs).
- Curbside Swap – May 16, 17, 18, 19
- Place unwanted items curbside to give others the chance to find a new home for your items.
- Items are the responsibility of the resident to discard if they remain after the curbside swap.
